  • Majority of the relief aid is going towards the coast lines to towns where the tsunami hit. People in metropolitan areas such as Tokyo are also having trouble obtaining food and water, but looks like it will be a while until they could receive rations. As you can see from this photograph, the markets are out of everything from bread, water, fruits, vegetables, and even toilet papers. This is all she could find after 3 hours of searching.

It may be hard to understand what winter/spring is here in southern California, winter/spring in Japan or S. Korea means below zero~40ºF. It snows. There are thousands of people without heat. So think about that when you’re cozy under your blankets, and enjoying your soft bed in your room that you’re not sharing with hundreds/thousands of other people :[
I heard something quite ridiculous today that Japan has enough money to buy U.S. twice, so they will have no trouble picking things back up. That only a small portion of the country has been hit and its not enough to damage the whole country’s production or its economic values in the market. Umm… not quite.
Oh, and did anyone else see that picture of FB comments that said stuff like, “japan deserved it for pearl harbor”? wow. I bet you anything they are the same kinds of people that also wanted to get rid of planned parenthood.
WHO CARES ABOUT CHARLIE SHEEN & LINDSAY LOHEN. I think its a fucking disgrace that when I tune into the news (ie KTLA, ABC, etc.) and the news moves from tsunami disaster to entertainment news. It’s actually disgusting.
When a country has a disaster, all of us have a disaster. Don’t think that it’s not your problem because it’s taking place somewhere far, and its happening to people you never even met. It is our problem.

There are no food, water, batteries, toilet papers, baby supplies & bunch of other things everywhere I go. Constant quake, nuclear plant, radiation, power outage, trains aren’t running, can’t use heaters, have to avoid opening windows and have to wear masks inside and outside BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH. There are people thousands of people dying and too many people missing. Dead bodies floating and a lot of people are worried that they can’t get in touch with their family/friends. There are too many things going on. Please show support and help save Japan !
